Portobello Stuffed Mushroom

On the first day of the year, I had a couple of my friends over for lunch. As this was my first “3azeeme” I really wanted to impress with simple and easy dishes, and this definitely did the trick! I am looking to start a few traditions on new years and this could be one I have every year πŸ™‚

3azeeme is an arabic word that translates into invitation, so inviting people over for an occasion or another.

We had these as a side dish with the chicken aubergine, recipe for that coming up soon.

I might have gotten a little too excited and created a menu..

But really how cute is the menu?! If you get excited like I do, you can also create your own menus hereΒ http://www.weddingchicks.com/freebies/invitation-suites/chevron-stripe-free-printable-wedding-invitation-suite/

  2. Clean Portobello mushrooms by removing the stem and cleaning out the gills and gently wiping the mushroom tops.
  3. Chop up tomatoes and mix them with the cheese, then carefully spoon the mix into the mushroom
